Michael Javins is a software test engineer with a photographic avocation, a sometimes musician, and a full-time tea advocate.

He has pursued photography in stages from vacation snapshooter to hobbyist to a part-time business. A graduate of the Rocky Mountain School of Photography summer program, his work has appeared in newspapers, corporate newsletters and brochures, and performing arts program books.
